Hello! Thanks a bunch for stopping by my little studio shop! I am a wife, mother of four fun + fine kids and love every kind of flower and color of the palette! I grew up making wildflower bouquets from roadside ditches and sneaking off to my room to paint . . . still two of my favorite things! While getting a degree in Landscape Design from Kansas State U, I took many art classes and continue to be interested in the theories and challenges of color + design. Throughout the years, I’ve worked at botanical gardens, floral shops, greenhouse + nurseries and farmer’s market fields. Each experience deepened my love for God’s examples of life through His creation of all things bright and beautiful!

As Hellen Keller is quoted, “A bend in the road is not the end of the road. . . unless you fail to make the turn.” My creativity was derailed out of pure exhaustion for a few years when our twins were born. They are deaf and have cochlear implants. After a lot of winding roads of surgeries, failures, therapy and a big move as a family for them to go to an auditory oral school, they are thriving and my artistic opportunities are too! I had a little fling with alcohol inks which led to entering a minted/West Elm art contest on a whim. Getting the news that I was a winner re-ignited my passion and purpose to paint! I also had a print sell at Target for a couple of years as a Minted artist too! God continues to open doors to new commissions and a space to sell art at a local shop. As an introvert and needing to have a very flexible job, being able to share beauty + God’s promises from my own little corner is an opportunity I don’t take for granted.

Some of my favorite things . . . I love Jesus, citrus, sunny soccer games, walking at Lake of the Woods, tropical flowers, big open skies, a good night’s sleep, seeing our kids be creative, new tubes of paint, podcasts and saltwater taffy.
